App Terms

Last updated

In addition to the site Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, these terms apply to OAuth applications published by Eric Boothe, including ebrain-hermes and any similar apps registered under this domain.

What these apps are

They are personal automation tools. Each app requests access to Google account data (for example Gmail, Calendar, or Drive) solely so that I can automate tasks on my own Google account. They are not a service offered to the public, are not monetized, and are not intended to be authorized by anyone other than me.

Who should authorize them

If you are not Eric Boothe, you should not authorize these applications. They will not do anything useful for you, and any access you grant will be revoked as soon as it is noticed. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions page.

How data is handled

  • Data is accessed only to perform the automation the app was built for.
  • It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
  • Retention is limited to what the automation needs; nothing is kept for its own sake.
  • Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Everything else about data handling is covered by the Privacy Policy.

No warranty

These apps are provided as-is for personal use. They may change or be discontinued at any time without notice.
